"Defender for cloud"
What do you like best about Microsoft Defender for Cloud?

Microsoft Defender is a easy to use and easy to implement. The best benefit is it is inbuilt with azure cloud and also can be integrated with other clouds easily and provide a unified dashboard for all the clouds. It detects the threats, misconfiguration and keep the security check in real time. Along all this, it can also be integrated with many azure services such as Entra Id, purview which helps in seemless data flow and quicker incident response. There are also built in features for audit. Also, the azure support team is always ready to help out in case of any doubts or issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Defender for Cloud?

The pricing can be little complex to understand which can get expensive if not managed wisely. Also due to overwhelming features, it hs a steep learning curve which can be time consuming to go thorugh. It does provide multi cloud support but it is best to be used with Azure services as it doesn't allow deep integration with other clouds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Robust Cloud Security Tool That Gives IT Teams Peace of Mind"
What do you like best about Microsoft Defender for Cloud?

Microsoft Defender for Cloud has become an essential security tool for our IT infrastructure. Its continuous security assessments and threat-detection capabilities provide real-time visibility into vulnerabilities across our cloud environment. Integration with Azure and Microsoft 365 feels seamless, which makes it straightforward to monitor activity and respond to threats from a single dashboard. I also find the security score feature especially valuable, since it offers a clear view of our overall security posture along with actionable recommendations to strengthen it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Defender for Cloud?

The initial setup and configuration can feel quite complex, especially for teams that don’t have dedicated cloud security expertise. Pricing can also add up quickly, depending on how many resources you’re monitoring. In addition, some alerts seem overly sensitive and can generate false positives, which then require manual investigation and increase the team’s workload. Finally, the documentation could be clearer and more straightforward for professionals who aren’t Microsoft-certified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
